  • Gipsy Major X prop

First of all I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Saul and I'm from South Western Australia. My father has asked me to find out some info about his prop that he's been carting around for more than half of his life. I've had a quick search but I'm totally out of my depth with this topic. It is an Australian made Gipsy Major X prop, made by G Adams and Son. I will attach pictures of various stamps and numbers.
One side of the hub is marked: D.6•61. P.3•33. SEPT. 1965.
    The other side is marked: D.H. GIPSY MAJOR X. DRG. NO.A57A. G.A & S. NO. 7408.

I guess what he would like to know is what aircraft it came from, if it's rare or sought after etc. He's well and truly retired and is contemplating selling some of his lifetime collection of "things". Thank you in advance for any assistance.

I don't find it on this extensive list, which doesn't bode well for identifying it. Sometimes an "X" denotes an experimental model, although I don't know if that applies in this case or not.
