Hello! I’m in search of old, 4-blade wooden props a la the RAF FE8. I’m a US military aviator myself and have a soft spot for anything WW1/2 related. FE8 props are hard to come by in the states so open to other suggestions or ideas. Cheers!

I sold one a few years ago for something around $7,000. It had been shipped from England and sold to someone who shipped it back to England, which made it even more expensive. Actually I also sold a DH4 four blade but I forget how much that one sold for, but that one was already in the U.S.
Here are the two that I previously owned:
https://woodenpropeller.com/FE8.html
https://woodenpropeller.com/DH4RollsRoyce.html
(I own and manage this web site, BTW, but I am no longer actively collecting and in fact may be selling off most of my remaining collection due to a recent diagnosis of a brain tumor. I don't have any four-bladed ones however.)

Sir. Sorry to hear about the health issues. I’ll be praying for you. Seems like the FE8 and DH4 are the only game in town as far as 4 blade wooden props is concerned, ay? Do you know of anyone trying to sell one in the states or know of the best place to be looking for one might be? Thank you for your time and help!Originally posted by Dbahnson View PostI sold one a few years ago for something around $7,000.
