  • Need help identifying wooden propeller 2430 mm.

Help needed to identify this propeller with a length of 2430 mm and brass protection on the edge of the blades.

It has the following markings on the hub:

    A ST CY
    N 8532
PK 266 SPDD - LYN (might be SIDD - LYN)
    D 34
    P - 166
    D

    And on the other side:

    7 - 326 - 611
    2278

Sincerely hope one of you might be able to help me. Information gathered so far suggests it is used for a Armstrong Siddeley Lynx engine of 266 hp (the pk abbreviation is Dutch for horse-power), but whether this is true I can not say (nore did I find any information on the internet confirming this).

    Regards,

    Jan

Here are some pictures as requested. The prop that needs to be identified is the one in the middle.

Does anyone out there has a clue for which plane this prop was used?

Sorry, I certainly don't. It's a left hand rotation, which does narrow it down somewhat. Maybe Bob Gardner has some information that would help?
