  • Adjustable Hartzell Identification

Good morning from AK. I am a pilot and fly a Cessna 170B. Most of my flying is off airport using wheels in summer, and skis in winter. My current prop is an 83” carbon/composite Hartzell Trailblazer, a significantly different animal than what’s on this site. It’s interesting to look at how props have changed over the years from what was then cutting edge methods to today.
I just found this site and thought maybe you folks might be able to assist me in identifying this prop. I’ve looked and just am not having much luck.
It measures +/- 80” total length. I’m curious, is it real/vintage or a replica? If real, what might it have been used on? Are these props readily available, hard to find, dime a dozen, or rare as hen’s teeth?
It’s been fun trying to look it up and seeing lots of other “old” wooden props and reading a bit about their history.
Any thoughts? Thx for the time.
