  • KOD propeller

    Hello,
I received recently pictures of unknown propeller. Propeller diameter is 180 cm it has 6 bolt holes (10 mm each). Bolt circle diameter is 120 mm and centre hole is 63 mm in diameter.

Leading edge has metal (brass?) sheathing. The KOD logo seems to be painted.
Do you know who made it?

KOD is a new one to me but a brief internet trawl turned this up. The attached photo of a medal with the workshop’s name written in Latvian has the same logo as your propeller.

There is more about KOD aircraft here; which specific type your propeller belonged to is a matter for speculation but my thoughts are that the dimensions are more appropriate to an engine of 60HP than 125HP.

      Thank You!
Mystery solved. I agree that engine for this propeller had less than 100 hp.
We have similar propeller on our web page: https://polishpropellers.com/propell...y-genet-80-hp/
It also has 6 bolt holes and almost the same diameter 183 cm.

      Thanks
      Sparrow
