  • Wrecked? Gardner Prop ID Assistance Needed

    Hi all!

I was looking for some assistance identifying the aircraft type associated with this (presumably?) wrecked Gardner prop I picked up at an estate sale. Unfortunately it's had a hard life, looks like it's been stored outside for a long while, and looks like someone tried to clean it up at some point, so unfortunately a bit of the originality is gone. But it only cost $20 so can't complain too much.

I'm going to make it a nice wall hanger and would love to know what aircraft it potentially came on.

And, any potential clean up/restoration suggestions?

    Thanks!

This page http://www.woodenpropeller.com/MWPGardner.html isn’t very specific but information found elsewhere suggests that your propeller is from a Fairchild 22-C7 aircraft, fitted with either a Michigan Rover or Cirrus Hi-Drive engine
