  • Sensenich Prop History

I recently purchased a Sensenich Model 72C-42 with serial # F0092. Just wondering what aircraft or engine this might have been from? From what I found it was manufactured in 44 or 45. Military or civilian? Decals are in bad shape. Does anyone sell reproductions? It is a wall hanger and was just curious of any history that anyone might have. Thanks!

Probably the most common use is a Piper J3 Cub, but it fits a number of other models as well. You won't find any "history" about it from public records, since they typically don't relate to that level of detail.

It's a very commonly found model, and not particularly valuable unless it's in pristine condition. They are still being manufactured for certificated use on some of the older airplanes.
