  • Auction of Props and other Aeronautical Memorabilia

A note to draw the attention of forumites to the Collectors Sale at Dominic Winter's auction house in England on 18 May. It is the best auction of aeronautical memorabilia and props that I know of. You can order a copy of the catalogue on the website or view on line at www.dominicwinter.co.uk.

The catalogue itself (the real one, not the virtual one) is a thing of great beauty.

    With kind regards,

    Nice!

Some interesting old propellers on there, too. When you get the catalog do you get the "prices realized" list after completion? I'd be interested to see what some of those end up selling for.

      Hi Dave,

They certainly publish the prices realised. I think I view them on their website. I'm off to Berlin and Krakow on Tuesday to do the final research for my book on German WW1 props, so I'll be absent from the forum for a bit.

      With kind regards,
