    Any info someone can provide on this prop would be helpful.

    Prop consists of 7 laminations of mahogany
    Right hand rotation
    8 holes 6 3/4" across
    1/2" bolt hole ID
    Overall length of prop 8' 1/4"
    Center Hole 3 1/8" ID
    Bolt holes 6 3/4" across
    Thickness of hub 5 7/8"
    Brass tips
    Long side 24"
    Short side 9"
    Edge bent over and soldered around edge of face
    Rivets 59 on outside edge
    29 rivets on inside edge towards the wood
    103 rivets in total on brass tip

    Markings are on front left blade sitting in plane
    U anchor S (U symbol of an anchor S)
    1 over 86 or 1 over BO inside approx 3/8" circle (1 may be letter I)

    The bole hole circle of 6 3/4" is too large for the engines used on a J1, which I believe used either an OX5 or a Hall Scott engine only.

    Can you check this link, then confirm the diameter of the bolt hole circle? Note that the bolt hole circle diameter is the circle that goes through the center of each bolt hole.

    I think your prop comes from a Navy flying boat, but I have no way of knowing for sure. It also resembles a prop for one of the Burgess aircraft of that era. It clearly has been refinished so it's difficult to know the manufacturer.
