  • Found a Sensenich prop

My father in law recently passed away and I came across this propeller in his storage shed from Sensenich Bros. From the info I have been able to gathered it is off of a Boeing-Sternman PT-17?? It is 98" tall and stamped on the prop is the following info part # 42K11317 / Serial # 50669 / PT-17 airplane / P-670-5 engine / 220 hp / 2100 rpm. Any of you fella's have any other info on it or what it might be worth?

The "42K" prefix refers to a 1942 military contract, although it doesn't necessarily mean that was the actual year of manufacture.

They look like the old style "Lititz" decals, which are more desirable than the newer style "Lancaster" decals.

Value depends a lot on condition, and it's hard to tell much from the single picture. See this page for a discussion of propeller values, or check eBay for completed sales of similar props.
