Curtiss R-9 propeller hub?

Without numbers it's just another "tall tale" that can't be verified, so may as well be ignored. The hub has been cut out in the center for a clock, or similar device, rendering it almost worthless as any kind of collectible. (A hub alone isn't worth much anyway.)
