Leonard Short, one S of S&S Aircraft, and his family, played a prominent role in Canadian wooden prop design and manufacture. Currently, their story is being compiled into a fascinating narrative - long overdue. We are gathering stories about props that served, that survived. Hopefully, posting in this forum will help us to learn even more.

I started replying to existing posts, but soon realized this topic thread may be a better approach to consolidate wide-ranging interest. Many people are asking questions, as are we!
