Comments:  Built by the American Propeller Company in Baltimore, Maryland in the late teens under the trade name "Paragon", this oak propeller was designed to be used on the Curtiss JN-4C, or "Jenny", using the OX 5 engine.  The "S.C." number refers to "Signal Corps", but it is believed that the numerical value is not significant other than a serial number.
