Lightbulb Please help me identify

I purchased a wood propeller for a decorative purpose however I wanted it to be an authentic propeller with some sort of a story behind it. I was surprised at how difficult it has been to find out information about it. It is stamped on the inside 1924 and has an ink stamp on the side 36 P 4 MODEL 6 276 G-15 SER1924. It is 42" across with red tips and has 6 holes for mounting. Does anyone have any information they could offer about this propeller? When it was made/used, what was it's purpose, was it off a plane, possibly used for military? I would greatly appreciate any information! Thank You
