Default Hartzell Prop

Hello, I have a Hartzell wooden prop that I am trying to find more about. It is not listed (or I missed it) on the list of identified props. It is stamped with a design # of 503 and SR NO 13180. Just trying to figure out about how old and perhaps type of plane it was used on. It was given to me as a gift, and a story of how it was used possibly on trainer planes out of the Westfield air base in Massachusetts.

I have no information on that Hartzell design number either. Sorry.
