  • GB Lewis but what plane?

I fell in love with a GB Lewis prop in Ohio years ago and toted it across the continent to California. The hub is 3.5" and the prop is 6 feet long. There is no G B Lewis logo but here is what is says on the prop:

    SER 4792
    DES. L10A-40
    H.P. 65/RPM 2300
    A.T.C. 788

Is there a way to know from the serial what kind of plane it was on? If I want to sell it how should I determinine its market value?

Thanks. I'm a newbie but delighted to find this forum and ogle the beautiful props.

The L10A-40 seems to have been very popular for light aircraft. You can see a list of the aircrft it was used on here http://www.modernwoodenpropellers.com/GBLewis.htm
