  • Le Rhone prop manufactured by the Dutch firm Hembrug in 1920

At the moment a propeller has come on the market which has the following specification:

    - Model O
    - Le Rhone 110 pk (hp) propellor
    - D 244 (diameter 244 cm)
    - Propeller is made by the firm Hembrug (a firm in Holland), which is obviously Royal (looking at the Crown above the letter W).
    - On the propeller under the manafucturers name is the date of manufacturing : 1920. [ So it just falls in the "modern" wooden propellers).

Is it possible to find any more information than what I can deduct now from the available photographs. Is it possible to give an indication of the price of this sort of propeller.

Well, it certainly fits in the early design category, even if it might have been manufactured after WW1. I know nothing about Hembrug.

I did look through my listings of AEF propellers and could not find a specific propeller of that exact size that matches any of the ones listed for the LeRhone engine (although there are several that are listed as 245cm).
