  • Inherited Propeller

I recently inherited a propeller from my grandmother. Its always been displayed in her dining room but I never thought to ask about it.
Its laminated, 82" long and copper edged. The word Gipsy is pretty clear but the numbers are a little difficult to read since its been varnished / polished.
I know virtually nothing about aviation and less about propellers so apologies if its obvious but any clues on what its from, age etc?
    Thanks in advance. Marc

Gipsy is the engine, and it's a left hand threaded propeller. There are many, many possibilities, so without the numbers you may never know which one, but to get an idea of how many it could be, look at all the Gipsy engine models on this list.
