  • German wooden blade WWII identification

    Dear gentlemen (and ladies)

I have bought recently in France (not yet arrived home) a german WWII wooden blade. The red markings painted on it are : "9-30308.11" and "w. Nr. 319138" plus "/1" hanpainted.

It is claimed to come with another one from a wreck in Alsace (France) durig WWII. I am looking for the type of aircraft that could be. I have read it could have been designed for à JUMO engine and possibly used on Ju87D/G, Ju88G, He111H or Fw190D.

Is anyone abble to help me in confirming options ? Thanks a lot for cooperation.

Bob Gardner may be your best bet. He's written several books on German (and other) propellers, mostly WW1 era, but he drops in here periodically and may have some insight. Fingers crossed . . .
