Suggestion number one is to write to us in English sentences, with capital letters, commas and full stops in all the usual places.

Number two is to ask the owner or manager of this public building if he knows from which aircraft this propeller came. What and where is the public building?

Thirdly, photograph the data stamped on the propeller boss which will describe the drawing number from which it can be identified and will also give the diameter and pitch, and the type of engine. This data will be located on the side of the boss between two of the blade roots. You might have to stand on a chair or even a step-ladder to photograph them.

If there are any decals on the propeller blades please photograph them too.

Check that all the photographs are completely in focus, with the stampings legible and completely visible.

    With kind regards,
