  • Hartzell AAF Design 44k Please Help.

I have been reading the forums doing my own research and have came up with some stuff, just wanted to see if anybody would let me know how accurate my findings are as well as let me know what info they have. I would also like to know roughly what the prop is worth. Thanks alot

    The prop is a Hartzell

    AAF Design 44k 15005
    SR # 48284

I came across a sensenich cross number which was 85LYA-57.
Says it came off a Stinson L5 Sentinel.

Once again wondering how accurate my information is also wondering a fair price.

I appreciate any information that is giving.

    Thanks again.

I think your assumptions are correct, although I didn't cross check everything. But it was fairly common for props to be manufactured by multiple manufacturers using common drawings and drawing numbers. The "44K" indicates the year of a military contract for it.

"Value" is very subjective and depends primarily on condition.

I appreciate the response. The prop is in fairly good conditions no cracks or anything major. I will try and post pictures if that will help.

      THanks again
