A while back I was trying to get some info on a prop I have.
After 800 miles of driving this week I finally got it home and took some photos of it with the hope someone might be able to shed some lght on it.
From what I am led to believe it is a pusher prop that had been used on a RCMP snowplane in northern Manitoba vintage 1940's ?
    It is 68 inches long
    DRG 420
    Ser Y505
    PIT 28.9
    Any info would be great

The only info I could offer is that it's a left hand rotation, which is unusual and often associated with either a pusher configuration or a geared engine of some sort. The hub assembly looks as if it may have been used in a non-aviation capacity, and the blade width suggests an application where drag would be an asset, such as a snow sleigh or similar device. A diameter of 68 inches is also shorter than most aircraft propellers.
