  • propeller ??

Hi, I found your page on the internet. I am a German Airforce collector and own a nice wooden propeller (see attached pictures). I would like to learn more about background and history of this propeller. It is approx. 2.8 m (8-9 feet) long. It would be very nice, if you have further information.
best regards and thanks a lot
    Stefan

It "looks" German, but that doesn't mean much more than that. Also, the presence of metal sheathing makes it a little more probable that it was post WW1 manufacture, but that too is simply an odds prediction.

It almost looks as if a portion of the hub has been intentionally removed, possibly to remove any indentifying stampings there. Usually there will be something stamped around the hub or on a blade that can often aid in identification.

          Stefan,

It looks German and has the shape of a prop made by Hugo Heine at Waidmannslust. Is there any data stamped on a blade or the hub. If not the diameter in mm might be a slight help.

          mit freundlichen Grüßen,

          Bob
