  • Propeller Identity

I have a wooden propeller 99 inches in length with a circular motif stating "Lyon Gremont Paris" there are two of these situated some 27" at the centre from the ends of the prop. There is also two other such circles with writing around at 6" centres from the centre of the prop. Around one side of the centre is the following detail: G-G-4-100-A with what looks like HP above it, on the other side of the centre is the following detail: G T-5014- SFA3. Can anyone help me identify what it is from. Thank you.

    Hi,

Your prop is probably a French Grémont propeller for a Caudron fitted with an Anzani engine.
You have to post clear close up pictures of all the markings (or send them to me by mail you'll find there, with pictures of decals and stamp of an other Grémont model: http://woodenpropeller.com/forumvB/s...ead.php?t=2247 ) to have a better knowledge of your prop.

    Regards,
