  • Grandfather's WWII Sensenich

My grandfather-in-law recently gave me the best birthday present ever!

He enlisted late 1944 (in the Army) and was selected for the Army Air Corp. He ultimately stayed in for 30 years. He was a navigator in the Pacific.

In 1945 he was in Manila. He commented to a Sgt that he sure would like to have a prop to hang on the wall. He said it was a reminder of training on the Piper Cubs. Days later the Sgt brought him a box. This prop was inside. He shipped it home and the rest is history. It was never installed and has a few handling bruises. It will remain a part of the family, so its not for sale. I have read and surfed the net and have seen them sell for $1500. Having this real history, condition, markings, and both decals I would guess its worth more (which is kind of cool).

Thought I would share. Enjoy the pics.
