  • I D help please.

    I have a barn find and would like to know what I have.
    This is a black wooden propeller.The only markings on it are u.s propellers Inc.
    It measures 96inches and 6inch thick.
    The hub has various marks.
    One side...258716
    The other has....D2827
    Assem 41g2325
    Cont.w33-038ac549
    Sri set.no 24007
    ? Thank you for any info you might be able to help with.also if this is servisable does it have any value?

    I doubt that it would be airworthy at this point. U.S. Propellers did not make a lot of props for certificated aircraft. Most of them seem to have been made for drones. I've never seen a list of U.S. Propellers correlating model numbers with aircraft usage.

        I'll check what little resource I have, but that company has been a frustrating one to research.

          The attached is ALL I have for U.S. Propellers. There is only one 96" propeller listed (Model 96LG) and it has a unique Type Certificate number (79. As I mentioned, I know of no available lists that would correlate that model number with aircraft application. Can you post a picture of the prop and the hub?
