Wow you certainly know your stuff. I did wonder why the fabric covered more of the blade than I had seen on other examples. I'm glad it all fits in with the batch number. I've had a really close look for a manufacturers decal and I can't see one anywhere, or even discolouration where there might have been one once. Thanks again for all the information.

That's comforting to me, having said that I've "never seen" an RAF decal.

I'm guessing now that I never will see one . . .
