  • Old Wooden propeller for sale

    I got a beautifull wooden propeller with some stamp marking on it.

    i don't know much about it and would like to sell it.

        The "G" and "N" numbers are typically British production numbers. I suspect the lower numbers reflect the manufacture date of March 3, 1918, but it's a little unusual to see that stamped on British props. Bob Gardner might comment on that.

        I couldn't find any drawing numbers that would corrrespond to "1623", so I'm not sure what aircraft it might have been designed for.

            Those are the diameter ("D 2940") and pitch ("P 2250"). I'm not sure what "SH 184" represents.
