  • Hartzell A 707

Dave, I'm interested finding out some information about the worth of a Hartzell propeller Design # A707\80(90) (actually it's a 90), Serial # 35993. It is fair to good condition, does need some work to repair the fabric, clean up the brass and new varnish. I have out that it was used on either a Beech B17L or Cessna T-50 with Jacobs L4 255hp.

Those are very commonly found propellers. They were produced in large quantities, especially by S&S in Winnipeg, then became obsolete with the introduction of variable pitch propellers for those engines. As a consequence, one that is in fair to good condition isn't going to command a very high price.

You can check eBay from time to time to see what comparable ones would sell for, and I'd have to see what "fair to good" actually means in visual terms.
