  • More info on Hoover Hydraulic Propeller

    Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has any info on my wood propeller in the pictures below.

I have been told that it is a prop made by Canadian Car & Foundry and used on Anson and Fleet Fort aircraft in WW II.

I had it listed for trade on kijiji and was astounded by the number of people that wanted it....I then figured that I should do a little more research and possibly find out the value.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jenny

So I found the following website which seems to show the identical propeller near the bottom of the page.

Does anyone have an idea of the value of this prop as I would be looking to sell it.

      Thanks

You should contact Monte Chase at that website. He seems to be the guru of variable pitch propellers.

          Thanks Dave,

I emailed Monte earlier this week and have not heard back as of yet.

          Thanks,
          Jenny
