  • Question about wooden propeller

Hi all, I am a collector of military watches and I bought this wooden propeller (with French clock) but does not have trademarks that were probably removed in the wood finish: could you help me to identify what it is and what propeller planes were mounted ?? Thanks. Maxox from Italy

That would be virtually impossible to identify. Even with manufacturing stampings in place it can be very, very hard.

The absence of stampings may also indicate that it was rejected during the manufacturing process.

That's still very, very, little to go on. Keep in mind that there were thousands of different models of wooden propellers manufactured, and records that would help identifying them seem to be impossible to find.
