  • Looking for information about Fahlin wooden propeller.

    Hello,
I have a Fahlin Wooden propeller that I have had since childhood, at least 55 years. It could be older than that. It was from my father's small plane, but I have no information about the propeller or the plane. If anyone could give me some information about it I would appreciate it. I have digital photos of it, the Fahlin decale, and the numbers on it, but am not sure how to attach the photos to this link.
The propeller is approx. 6 feet long, with six holes around the hub.
The numbers stamped on the propeller are as follows:
    D585 A48
    NO28857 HP 85
    RPM 2575
    AtC 681

If you have any information or would like me to send photos please let me know. My e-mail address is: dsnewman74@sbcglobal.net

    Thanks very much,
    Dennis Newman

It's for a Luscombe 8E or 8F with a Continental 85 HP engine. Lamar has it listed on his Fahlin web page.

ATC number is the type certificate number.
