  • Trying to ID a propeller...help...

I am attempting to identify a propeller. I will attach photo(s) but here are a few details:

    - Supreme Propeller Co., Wichita, KS.
    - 6 bolt holes
    - Approximately 5 ft. in length
    - 2 identifying markings printed:
    1) "D 100-1"?
    2) "2249", which from what I have read may mean it was created in 1922?

Any help/expertise/information you can provide regarding this propeller would be helpful, and much appreciated!
    Thank you!

Unfortunately I have no drawing or serial number information on Stone props. All the information I know of is at http://www.modernwoodenpropellers.com/StoneSupreme.htm.

      Value...?

How would one determine the value of a propeller such as this?

Go to eBay and search under "wooden propeller". Then look at values for "completed listings".

            Supreme Propeller

            Hello,

I am the grandson of the designer and manufacturer of Supreme Propellers and Stone Propellers, Morris J. Stone. My father (William B. Stone) and his four brothers worked with their dad in Wichita Kansas for many years. I have been searching for 40 years for a wooden propeller from my family's past. Would you be so kind as to consider returning this prop to its original family. I will be glad to offer payment.

            Kind regards,

            Jeff Stone

How excellent it would be if this prop can be returned to the original family who made it!
