LZ-129 Hindenburg Heine Propeller

Hello All!
I am on a research project regarding LZ-129 Hindenburg. Unfortunately not much appears online about the specific propellers used on LZ-129. I know they were produced by Propellerwerk Heine in Berlin-Friedrichshain and were 6meters (19.7 ft) in diameter with a maximum rotational speed of 750rpm. I am looking for any additional technical information about the props such as airfoils and diagrams. Any information is greatly useful and appreciated. Additionally any information regarding LZ-130 propellers also made by Heine would be of help for another project.

Waouh! Tangential speed of tips would be 2.3 Mach! Sure they were VERY special propellers...

Sadly, diagrams (i.e. blueprints or "drawings") are seemingly non-existent now, and I've looked in a variety of locations for them, including in the U.S. the National Air and Space Museum, the Library of Congress, and the National Archives, some of those with the help of an archivist there.

yup there i go mixing units again...~20ft, 6 meters.

Hi,

I have some blueprints and diagrams from 1917 to 1942, but only one is for a dirigeable, and this one is for a Zodiac fitted with a 120HP 9Ac Salmson engine. The prop diameter is only 2.6 meters. It can't bring anything useful for you.

The blueprints are very difficult to publish because they are true size and have been folded to ~A4 size. Unfolding have to be done by a specialist to scan it... and this have a cost between 150 and 300€.

The example attached (a wooden prop for a Laté 28 ) is a paper blueprint. Those on tracing paper are brittler.

Thank you very much. I have a request in to the LZ Archiv in Germany if the request comes back affirmative I will pursue that avenue. How likely would it be that they adapted LZ-127s props for LZ-129 by increasing diameter?
