  • Positve ID of suspect DH5 wooden propeller

Our Ex-Services Club have an early WW1 wooden propeller which is thought to be from an Airco DH5 aircraft. The following dimensions are approximate: Prop diameter 8ft 5ins, hub diameter 8ins. There are four approx 1/2in dia bolt holes at the 12 oclock, 3 oclock, 6 oclock and 9 oclock positions, with four approx 3/8in dia holes equally interpersed with them. Bolt circle is 5.9ins (15cms). The shaft mounting hole, with a metal liner is 2 3/4ins internal diameter. Markings on the side of the hub say "Training No. 1708". One mounting face is marked "Tri Pro 137111, and on the opposite face is "1822" with a faint "French Type Boss DE. H. 5".

Information provided by a member suggests that this propeller is from a De Havilland DH5 powered by a French 110hp "Le Rhone" engine.
Can you confirm from the above info, or do you require photos/more info?
