Need any information on a 114in Wooden Propeller with 8 bolt holes

PLEASE HELP:

Trying to determine the age, value, etc of a 114in. propeller.

Descriptive markings on hub listed below:

L15 or possibly L1S
*the 5 or S has a curved arrow under it with arrows on both ends

9.6 X 5.00

Right hand

F.O.R. or F.C.R.

Number "75" imprinted

Measurements of propeller:
Thickness - 7 1/4"
Diameter - 11.5"
Center bore diameter - 3"
bolt hole circle - 8 3/4" (outside to outside)
Bolt hole diameter - 1/2"

**There is NOT any type decal located anywhere on this propeller**

It's most likely for a Liberty engine, and probably one of the Navy flying boats from the late teens. Even with the numbers it's often hard to identify them. Is there a chance that the stamped letters are in fact "H16"? That was a fairly common plane using a prop like that for a Liberty engine.

It has been refinished, so it's hard to say whether it ever had decals or not, but the refinishing does reduce it's value. The market for them isn't very predictable right now. I'm guessing it might sell in the $1000 range, give or take a few hundred, on eBay, but that's an unsupported guess.

I'd love to know what "F.C.R." stands for. You see it on a lot of propellers from that time.

Thanks for your input. My step-father was an Ag pilot, just as myself, so knowing the history was just getting to me...My Step father was killed in a plane crash in Iowa in 2007 while spraying there, so any information he had...well was not passed on. Thanks again for your information...
