Default Curtiss prop

Hello. I am just looking for any opinions on this prop. Rarity. Value. Iím thinking about purchasing it. Itís a Curtis and it is 8 feet 6 inches long. The numbers on the prop are p 91138. 88x59. Op85662p1
Itís shaped like the Curtiss jn4.
Thank you John. I originally posted this in the show and tell area but realized it was probably not the correct place.

It's hard to really tell much from those photos.

It's rough but original. I doubt you can verify JN4 usage. If it were me in a position to buy Iíd start at around $500, but it might be worth - depending . . .

If you buy it, don't ďalterĒ it.

Hi

Whether this is helpful I donít know but, having looked closely at the photos, the prefix to the number 85662P1 appears to be CP rather than Op (CP standing for Curtiss Propeller) and the diameter and pitch markings appear to be not 88 x 59 but 8í6Ēx 5í9Ē, which corresponds with the known dimensions.

Regards

Andy

Mt
I appreciate your feedback. I just thought it was a neat looking old prop but he wants quite a bit more than 500 for it so Iím not sure Iím going to make an offer.
Thank you
