    Hello New here so hello all


    Hello all need some help here,

    I was given this propeller today I believe it could be from a WW1 plane but what?
    Any aviation Experts out there??

    Picture Bellow It measures 48 inches By 8 inches wide in old Money!

    Um how do you put Images on Here ??

    mages can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).

      It's awfully short for a WW1 era propeller, and there would need to be some stampings on it to identify it as well. Photo???????

          Oh, it a piece of a prop. It does look like WW1 era, but it would be almost impossible to identify precisely, and the best you could do is find a known prop with an identical geometry and then guess that it's exactly the same design number. Without the exact drawing number, it's always just a guess.
