Hi folks, I'd appreciate any info on the prop with the above markings, and can anyone tell me what the coating on the timber is? Black resin-like stuff.

Look for the number here. Likely designed for the Airspeed Oxford.

Thanks for the ID.

The coating is 1-2mm thick, black on the outside and bonded firmly to the wood. The coating covers both blades, and can be removed slowly with a heat-gun.

I don't know what it is, but I wouldn't remove it unless I did.

That may be armor coating the manufacturer added to protect the prop from debris damage.
