  • Flottorp Prop

I have a FLOTTORP propeller that an employee gave from an estate to display in the lobby. We are curious as to what it may have come from and how old.
I went to the woodenpropeller.com and did not see the number listed on the sight. It has the following markings:
    6486
    DES. 74RM-48
    TC 802
    PC 4

That's a Flottorp design number and Type Certificate (802). The Type Certificate expired in 1948 (just a coincidence that the pitch is 48 inches). It's listed for a 100 HP engine, but the listing doesn't give the engine type or any aircraft name.
