  • Help identify propeller

    Hello all,

I have a prop I am trying to identify and would like to research. My father was a pilot and owner if an ercoupe and flew for many years. I am a student pilot and have passion for aviation. Recently my father passed away and I inherited this propeller. If anyone can help with any details I would greatly appreciate. I don't see a manufacturer. There are numbers listed

    DES 70145
    SER 10305
    PPV2300

Really want to mount on my wall and have a good story of its history. Thanks all!!

I'm questioning the identification numbers, only because they resemble some more standard nomenclature, such as "RPM instead of "PPV" preceeding 2300, and designs were often written as 70 xx 45 where xx is a letter or letters depicting the hub and the numbers are diamter and pitch. Not knowing the manufacturer makes identification considerably more difficult as well.

    Time for a photo of it . . .
