Cirrus Major

Hi,

I have a wooden prop - DWG Z974/3 L6.23.P5.26 Cirrus Major, 84062, 1940. I presume this to be for use with a Cirrus Major engine on Gypsy Moths etc. Is this correct? Any information gratefully received....

Many thanks. I'm sorry that I didn't have your prop drg no listed. My speciality in the prop world is WW1 props but I have acquired a huge number of DH drg nos as a by-product, and thanks to you I have just added one more to my list!

Similarly, I would much appreciate details of any RAF clocks that you might have, particularly the serial nos of fusee clocks. I am gradually building up a database that is beginning to indicate production methods and batches etc.

Interestingly I have just noticed that stamped into the back of the boss in small test it reads 'TIGER MOTH'!
