Attached are some pictures of a hub my friend Alan Cotton made for a Arvo 504 prop.
We got the design from an actual Arvo 504 which is on display at the Sydney Domestic Airport - Qantas Terminal (Kingsford Smith Airport).
I think he has made a really nice job - the hub allows the prop to be spun once fitted, it also has a brake.
The visable areas have been treated with a Gun Barrel Browning Fluid to give it an aged look without rusting.
Alan gave me his detailed working drawings - I believe these could be adapted to most early props and I am happy to send them to anyone who wants them. (just pm me)
The last picture is the original one we got the measurements off. I have not put the wire on mine as yet. (too lazy)
