Id appreciate any help in identifying a propeller blade I have. From the Sensenich webpage I assume its from 1944-1945.

Length: 36.25
Model C276A2
SER NO. 1856A
Holes: 13

I don't know much about that style of propeller (variable pitch blades attached to a hub), but I don't think the published serial number coincides with the list that Sensenich provides. (Notice that those numbers have a letter prefix while yours shows the letter as a suffix. Also, there is a similar list that they have published previously.)

I don't know when the decals changed from the "Lititz" style to the "Lancaster" style but believe it is later than 1945, so I suspect that this blade was manufactured after WW2.

I would suggest that you try to contact Monte Chase on his website, notplanejane.com. He has both a huge collection and a great deal of knowledge of these variable pitch style wooden props.
