  • Novice needs help with prop identification

    Greetings,

I have recently inherited a wooden prop and would like some help identifying it. I have spent a significant amount of time researching it's place of birth, but to no avail.

My significant other says the prop is made of mahogany. Here are a few other facts about it....as "inscribed on the prop"
    - 7 foot long
    - 8 holes, actually has the metal hardware attached. No markings on the metal.
    - diameter at center is 7 inches
    - D7 - which means 7 foot? P4 - Pitch designation
    - the number 2044 appears on it
    - ___22BR (cannot make out first letters)
    - ____RY, Ca. (not sure if this is where manufactured.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated!!!!! Thanks!!!

That's not really going to be enough information to identify it. Even with the numbers it can be hard. A picture might help.
