  • Gipsy Major Prop questions

I 've been asked to dispose of a propeller with the following markings on the hubb. DRG NO H.R.671/1/C, GIPSY MAJOR I.D L.H.T., D.6.84 P.3.53. The propellor is black with red tips and appears to be undamaged. Anyone have any idea of its history, fitment, age and potential worth? A possible clue is that it has been owned by a gliding club for sometime so could be off an Auster, possibly having been changed for one of a finer pitch?

I don't have listings for those, but Bob Gardner may. He's away for a while, I believe, but if you hold tight he may be able to help out when he returns in a few weeks.
