    .just out of barn---3, 7 foot propellers...all wood and same style,,bolt on ends,,all have an about 3 inch round copper(coin like)attached at about the ends of props.1 markings are d,e,e,1-----2nd-d,e,e,2----3rd-d,e,e,3....this had to have at least a 14 foot radius when spinning...tri-prop?..big air plane?... Were found in an old barn near old baer field,ft wayne......thanks,,mark

    Sure sounds like a 3 bladed variable pitch prop without the hub assembly.

      ...thanks....would hub have been on engine? or seperate missing part?....were there ww1 era aircraft that would have had props this big?........i dont have a camera,but may be able to get pic on by freind...........thanks..mark
