  • Prop ID

I have an image of a prop marked:
    D 2050 P 1400
    ACG No 14053
    June/29

I'm thinking it is for a De Haviland aircraft, a DH.60 or DH.85.

Does anyone have any specific info on this prop?

It's an unusual diameter. Most, probably all, DH drg nos were measured in feet and inches. Your dimensions translate as 6ft 9ins and 4ft 8ins whereas many DH props had diameters of 6ft 4ins. I regret that I cannot help.

    With kind regards,

Ah! I've found it. These are the dimensions of a prop with the DH drg no of DH5234/D for the DH85 Leopard Moth and with slightly different pitch for the DH87 Hornet Moth, both with the Gipsy Major engine.

        With kind regards,
