  • Looking for Prop I.D.

A Friend gave me a prop and asked if I could find out more about it,
it has dry rot damage where the ID area is and the manufacturer id is missing as well, so I only have partial info... The prop is 90 1/2" but there is a mark that says D 8.0 FT, as well as a MOD B 76 marking, it is 7 7/8" thick and may be made of cherry, it has copper edges and has an 8 bolt pattern. There is a stamp on the inside of the center area that says OD56 and in the area of the ID section where the dry rot hasn't damaged it has the following stamp L-U.S.A. DR??? then followd by K9493 after the dry rot area.

I have Pictures but I am unsure how to post them here...

    Thanks
    Len

Unfortunately the very information we need for an ID is where the dry rot is. I find it curious that it's marked as 8 feet in diameter but is actually only just over 90 inches in diameter. Makes me rather wonder if it didn't suffer tip damage at one time and was repaired for display purposes.
