Default Help with identification

Looking to identify this prop.

Here’s what I can decipher on the hub:

104-68
RH
SR NO 3324 or SR 10. 3324.
AAC 3912

The propeller has an 8 bolt pattern
9 inch hub
Prop is 104” long

Thank you in advance!

Hi
I can’t offer an identification but will give a few pointers:

104-68 -Diameter and pitch of propeller in inches

RH -At risk of stating the obvious, Right Hand.

SR NO. 3324 -Close inspection of the photographs shows that it is definitely this; i.e. Serial Number.

AAC 3912 -Possibly the manufacturer’s design number or a contract number. Either might provide identification if the number exists in a database somewhere.

It may be possible to narrow down the possibilities as to which engine it was fitted to, by very accurately measuring and posting all of the hub dimensions as listed here:

Good luck,

Andy

That can end up being misleading sometimes. This appears to be a post-WW1 propeller (just guessing by its design and the nature of the stamped information) and some of the measurements are similar or identical to WW1 hub measurements but were totally different applications. It's worth a look, though.
